Bake the Multiverse: A Character Cake Exhibition, Coming This December

Hot Ticket Productions is bringing creativity and compassion together this December with “Bake the Multiverse: A Character Cake Exhibition.” The three-day event will see five talented bakers create giant cakes inspired by characters from Secrets of the Multiverse, our upcoming animated film.

More than just a contest, the exhibition aims to raise funds for the needy while celebrating the artistry that defines our storytelling. Guests will be able to watch the bakers work live, enjoy family-friendly activities, and take part in auctions, tastings, and online voting, all to support a meaningful cause.

Many will remember Lady Buckit and the Motley Mopsters, Nigeria’s first full-length animated feature, produced by Blessing Amidu and directed by Adebisi Adetayo. The film introduced audiences to Bukky, a curious young girl who travels to a whimsical world filled with lessons about courage and self-discovery. Secrets of the Multiverse continues that legacy as a sequel and spiritual successor,  the series takes Lady Buckit’s world to new heights.

Each participant will choose one character from Secrets of the Multiverse and transform it into a large edible sculpture over three days of live creation. The event will include workshops for children, live judging, and a public showcase, ending with the reveal of how much was raised for charity. Proceeds from ticket sales, cake auctions, and livestream access will go directly to support those in need.

With Bake the Multiverse, Hot Ticket Productions is not just celebrating a film, we’re creating a space where art, community, and kindness meet. It’s an invitation to be part of something fun and purposeful.

Stay tuned for updates on the venue, participating bakers, and how you can join us this December. Together, let’s bake for purpose, for joy, and for the stories that connect us all.
